What are the examiners looking for

There are many different ways to do these investigations. The examiners are not looking for one particular method. They are usually looking for 3 important things:

Here are the experiments you need to learn for your exam

Describe how you would investigate:

  1. the displacement of an object

  2. the speed of an object

  3. the acceleration of an object

  4. the density of a solid

  5. the density of a liquid

  6. the density of a gas

  7. the conservation of linear momentum

  8. the formula F=ma

  9. if a radioactive source contains α particles, β particles or γ radiation.

  10. the half life of a radioactive source
